Vitamin C Dollar Tree

Vitamin C Dollar Tree

Dollar store vitimins?

Due to some vitamin absorption issues, per my doctor I am on several supplements. I take vitamin C, multivitamins, zinc and vitamin D. I spend about $40/month on these items. The other day I saw dollar tree had them all for a total of $4. Does anyone know if it is safe? I would rather spend $40 and not get sick. If I can get the same thing for $4, then I would like to make a switch.

They're safe but double check ppu on them and compare to other place's bulk prices.

Safe, probably. Effective? Maybe not. A lot of cheaper vitamins contains fillers and may meet FDA standards, but really aren't doing a lot for you.

I don't always agree that just bc something cost more it is immediately better quality. I do think the dollar store version are cheap for a reason, and I wouldn't buy them until I did some research.

Thank you for the info. I should clarify, by safe I meant effective. I have a severe vitamin deficiency and would rather spend more knowing it is being met.

Look through coupons and store deals. Vitamins often go on sale for exorbitant amounts. I've seen several BOGOs on entire vitamin lines. Look for deals and steals and stock up.

I've taken dollar store vitamins (they even get name brand sometimes), but often you aren't buying 30. You may be buying 10 as opposed to 30 or 100.

Yep Cvs does this pretty frequently. My doctor has me on lutien and I always stock up when it's bogo

I believe legally they have to be 1:1 copies of the real deal.
